Francesca Marino is a third-year PhD student in the Epidemiology of Aging track at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Francesca received a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from Trinity College in 2016 and worked for four years as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital prior to beginning her PhD. Her research interests include cognitive aging and physical activity of older adults, and her proposed dissertation will examine daily physical activity patterns as markers of early cognitive impairment relating to trajectories toward Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
